Breaks the new Android user-space.
With the new binder API, one can mix 64bit and 32bit userland together, however, currently there is no way to run a 32bit-only userland on a 64bit kernel. This patch allows the binder legacy config option to be available on 64bit kernels. Note: Enabling this will make it so 64bit applications will not be able to communicate with binder Cc: Serban Constantinescu <serban.constantinescu@arm.com> Signed-off-by: John Stultz <john.stultz@linaro.org> --- drivers/staging/android/Kconfig | 5 +++-- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-)
